How to Jelq?
Before you begin jelqing, we recommend you to warm up your penis by using hot towel and wrap around between 5-10 minutes or you can simply get in a warm shower. Getting to the right temperature relaxes your smooth muscles in penis and make it responds way better to the exercise.
Preparation
You will need privacy. I suggest you do this in the bathroom so you can warm up with hot water and not mess things up. Warm up your entire shaft from the base to the glan of the penis. Be sure to warm up at least 5 minutes before jelqing.
Erection level
Bring your erection level be around 50%-70% erect by stroking your penis a bit. The penis should be relaxed and spongy so that it’s easy to push blood into. Do not perform jelqing exercises with a 100% full erection.
Step-by-step
- Form an OK-grip by using your thumb and main pointer finger.
- Place the OK-grip around the base of your penis, as close to your pubic bone as you can in order to avoid baseball bat effect.
- Use light pressure on the OK-grip then slowly move from bottom to under the glan of your penis, don’t jelq the glan. A proper pressure grip shouldn’t hurt but effectively pushes blood up the penis.
- That is one cycle of jelq. Each jelq should take around 2-3 seconds to perform.
- Use another hand to form an OK-grip at the base when your first hand is right under penis glan. Then release the first hand and move the second hand up like you did with the first one.
- Now repeat from the start again.
Suggested routine
If you’re just starting out it is nice to start with one day on and one day off. For example, you could jelq on Mon, Wed, Fri for 1 week then after that change it to 5 days on 2 days off. Do not rush since your muscles and blood vessels need to recover.
Always start your routine with proper warm up, this will help prevent injury and get better gains. A good temperature for warming up is around 40 °C (104 °F). One of the best and easiest way is to use hot stream of water for around 5-10 minutes to heat up your penile.
After a proper warm up, jelq your penis at 50%-75% erection (this is approximation number, decided by your feeling is ok.) Do not jelq at 100% erection since it can cause pain. For a beginner each session should be over 15 minutes. 10 minutes per session is good enough.
Your hands or your penis might get tired during the session, if so then take a break for 1-2 minutes then start again.
You should be familiar with jelqing after 3 months. After this you are ready for a little bit more intermediate excercises.

Good signs after a session
If you get stronger erections, more harder morning wood, then it’s working.

What is dry Jelqing?

The Proper Jelqing Angle
When you jelq it is advised to jelq in all directions: down, up, left, right to stretch your tissue equally in all directions. Jelqing variations

2. Side jelq – Side jelq is used to fix penis curve. Jelqing against the curve you currently have at high erection level (70%-80%)

How does jelqing work?
